Shown here is the life-size model of the Kan-u Gundam ( 關羽ガンダム ) from the model kit series, BB Senshi Sangokuden ( BB戦士三国伝, BB Warrior Romance Of The Three Kingdoms ).

I don't remember any Kan-U or Ryuubi gundam on SD Gundam Force. are these guys from another SD Gundam universe?

I think they are from a brand new universe; something related to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series.

Yes, ill-lushtrator, you're exactly right. They come from the current SD Gundam manga line, SD Gundam Sangokuden or BB Senshi Sangokuden - a retelling of Romance of the Three Kingdoms with Gundams "acting" the roles of the historical figures.

If you ask me, that's one of the most beautiful, brilliant ideas Bandai's ever come up with. It's paid off well, too. Now... since RoTK is what spawned the Dynasty Warriors games, which did somewhat visually influence the designs of these guys, and since we already have two Dynasty Warriors: Gundam games...

...when will Bandai and Koei get the idea, team up, and make a Dynasty Warriors game with these fellas? I'd get a Playstation just for that game if they ever made one!
